KB47092: Number of pages does not change even after ACL changed for some User Group objects with MicroStrategy Intellilgence Server Administration Portal 9.3.1

SUMMARY:
This issue is classified as a defect. The impact is limited to Web users who have access to Intelligence Server Administration Portal.
SYMPTOM:

The number of page never changes even after the number of the User Groups that can be browsed by the user updated.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

• Create a user who has access to all of user groups under "Strategy Groups"
• Login to Intelligence Server Administration Portal with the user created at step 1.
  

• Notice that there are two pages to display all of the user groups to which the user has access, and the 2nd page has only one user group listed.
  

• Log out Intelligence Server Administration Portal.
• Log in as Administrator through Desktop and set ACL to "Denied all" for some user groups for the user created at step1. (Note: This way, the number of user groups visible to the user will decrease.)
• Go back to Intelligence Server Administration Portal.
• Notice that some user groups such as "3rd Party Users" is no longer visible, and the total number of user groups visible to the user decreased. However, the 2nd page is still showing "Web Viewers" users.

CAUSE:
This is an identified defect with Strategy Intellilgence Server Administration Portal 9.3.1.
ACTION:
This issue has been addressed in Strategy Intellilgence Server Administration Portal 9.4.1 Hotfix 8. Upgrade to this version or higher to take advantage of this fix.
