Metric selectors order the metrics within their selecting areas by the order they appear on the grid that is being targeted from left to right, as shown below:
When targeting two grids, the selector orders metrics starting from the first grid as they appear in their targets:
Then it will add the metrics from the next grid, again in the order that they appear, left to right, skipping the metrics that repeat in both grids, as seen below.
When the metric selector targets a panel stack with more than one grids and not the grids individually, the selector will pick up the metrics from the grid in the order in which they were added to the panel stack.
To update the order of a metric selector, it is necessary to retarget the grids or rearrange the grid contents; however this change needs to be done in Design mode, as the change will not reflect immediately when done in Editable mode.
