When a Data Import operation is performed in MicroStrategy Web 9.3.x and 9.4.x, numerous TaskProc calls are generated. This is a known issue with MicroStrategy Web 9.3.x, and 9.4.x running on Tomcat. This symptom is not seen on a MicroStrategy Web running on IIS.

SYMPTOM:
When a Data Import operation is performed in Strategy Web 9.3.x and 9.4.x, numerous TaskProc calls are generated.
 
CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy Web 9.3.x, and 9.4.x running on Tomcat. This symptom is not seen on a Strategy Web running on IIS.
 
ACTION:
This issue is addressed in 9.4.1 Hotfix 4. Upgrade to this version to take advantage of the fix.
