KB47203: A Folder cannot be added to "Selected objects" page in package creation in MicroStrategy Object Manager 9.4.x-10.x.

SYMPTOM:
When a Folder is selected in the “Add Objects” screen, the arrow to add objects to the “Selected objects” is not activated as seen below:

 
CAUSE:
This is working as designed.
 
ACTION:

• To move individual objects inside folders, users will move objects from left pane to right pane
• If users want to move only folder objects, create a search with specifying “Object Types” to Folder.
