SYMPTOM:
In Strategy Analytics Enterprise email subscriptions for Visual Insight Dashboards with the option 'Data in email' selected are delivered as attachments rather than being embedded in the email's body.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Create a Visual Insight Dashboard
2. Create a subscription or use "Send Now"
3. Add the Dashboard to the subscription previously created
4 Select the option 'Data in email' as shown below:
The dashboard is not displayed in the body of the email but is delivered as an attachment.
CAUSE:
This is working as per design in Strategy Analytics Enterprise 9.4.1.
In previous versions of Strategy it was possible to display at least the first page of a VI Dashboard in the body of the email because the format was HTML. In Strategy Analytics Enterprise 9.4.1 the only format allowed is MHT, thus the Dashboard is sent as an attachment.
