SUMMARY:
This issue has been classified as an enhancement by Strategy. The impact is limited to Strategy Web 9.x and 10.x product when formatting header alignment for all reports and documents. A workaround is available in the current document. A solution/code fix for this issue is not available in current releases but is being reviewed for a future Strategy release.
SYMPTOM:
When attempting to format column axis headers for a grid report or a grid on a document in Strategy Web 9.x and 10.x, a user will notice that the option to rotate the text direction 90 degrees does not appear. Only the options of horizontal and -90 degrees appear as seen below.
However, the option to display the column axis header text direction at 90 degrees does appear in Strategy Developer, as seen below.
CAUSE:
This is a known limitation of Strategy Web 9.x and 10.x
ACTION:
Currently this enhancement of functionality is still being reviewed for feasibility by our Technology team and it is not scoped for any upcoming scheduled Strategy release.
WORKAROUND:
To work around this issue when necessary to format the column axis header text direction to display 90 degrees, users must do so in Strategy Developer.
