SYMPTOM:
Users are unable to display a large amount of data points on an ESRI map visualization in Visual Insight for Strategy Web 9.4.1. The map displays a loading circle until the browser crashes or the user manually closes the window.
CAUSE:
This is a limitation of the Adobe Flash technology used for rendering ESRI maps inside Strategy Web 9.4.1 Visual Insight.
WORKAROUND:
Limit the amount of data points plotted at a time by using a Page-by or Filter.
