KB47437: Graphs as a selector do not filter a targeted grid in Internet Explorer 10 & 11 in MicroStrategy Web 9.4.1

SYMPTOM:
 
Attributes on a grid or a graph object can be configured to work as selectors in Strategy Web 9.4.1.  When using Internet Explorer 10 & 11, however, a graph selector will fail to drive the targeted grids.  In the image below, the bar graph is a selector of the grid under it, but selecting any of the elements does not change the values displayed.
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Create a new document with 2 grids.  Each grid should have 1 attribute and 1 metric.
2. Use the attribute on grid 1 as a selector to target grid 2.
3. Run in Interactive mode, and notice that when clicking on an attribute element in grid 1, grid 2 is then filtered by that attribute.
4. Switch grid 1 to a graph, then run in Interactive mode.  Notice that when selecting an attribute element on the graph, grid 2 is no longer filtered at all.

 
CAUSE:
 
This is a known issue in Strategy Web 9.4.1.
 
ACTION:
 
This issue has been resolved in Strategy version 9.5.1 and higher. Please upgrade to a higher version in order to take advantage of the fix.
 
WORKAROUND:
 
If possible, use another of the supported browsers.
