KB47439: Columns Auto Fit to Window does not work in Express Mode when Columns Lock is checked in MicroStrategy 9.4.1

SYMPTOM:
When adding a grid to a dashboard document and using the "Columns Lock" option, the grid will align text to the left and show empty space to the right in Express Mode.

1. Create a dashboard with any dataset report.
2. Add dataset as grid to the panel.
3. In design mode, right mouse click the grid, go to Properties and Formatting -> Grid -> Columns Lock checked.
4. Run dashboard in Express mode. The columns in the grid all display on the left side of the grid, leaving empty space on the right side of the grid. They do not auto fit to the window.

 
CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy 9.4.1. Contact Strategy Technical Support for an update on this issue.
WORKAROUND:
Disabling the "column lock" or using a different view mode will make the columns to Auto-Fit.
