The bottom of the text in a text box is cut off when using the zoom function for the Chrome browser in Express mode in MicroStrategy Web 9.3.1.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Using Web 9.3.1 with Chrome browser:
1. Create a blank document
2. Insert text box into the document and type in some text/numbers.
3. For the text box, in Properties and Formatting > Layout, change Height to be fixed at 13 pixels (Also make sure Font size is set to 9 or 10).
4. Run document in Express mode. Text should appear correctly (If Chrome is not zoomed).
5. Change browser zoom in Chrome options (Or by holding Ctrl and spinning mouse wheel up).
6. At various zoom levels the bottom of the number will now appear cut off on the bottom.
CAUSE:
This is a known issue in MicroStrategy Web 9.3.1
ACTION:
Contact MicroStrategy Technical Support for an update on this issue.
WORKAROUND:
Change the text box height to fit to contents, or set browser zoom to level where full text appears.
