KB47488: When the "Folder" attribute is added to an Enterprise Manager report, a value of "NO LOCATION AVAILABLE" appears for every row in MicroStrategy 9.4.x

SYMPTOM
When the "Folder" attribute is added to an Enterprise Manager report, a value of "NO LOCATION AVAILABLE" appears for every row in Strategy 9.4.x as shown below.
 

 
The IS_REP_LOC column in the IS_REP table of the statistics database shows the correct folder paths, and running a report with only the "Folder" attribute on the template returns the correct folder paths.
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. In the Enterprise Manager 9.4.x project, create a new report and add just the "Folder" attribute to the template.
2. Execute the report and confirm that the correct folder paths are displayed in the results.
3. Add an attribute (such as "Project" or "Report") to the report.
4. Re-execute the report and the results under the "Folder" attribute should display "NO LOCATION AVAILABLE" for all rows.

CAUSE
This is a known issue in Strategy Enterprise Manager 9.4.x
 
ACTION
This issue has been fixed in Strategy Enterprise Manager 10.0 and later. Upgrade to Strategy Secure Enterprise 10.x to take advantage of the fix.
