Which temporary files directory is used by the data import feature in MicroStrategy Web Universal 9.x.

When performing Data Import for file imports using Strategy Web Universal 9.x, Strategy Web temporarily stores the file to import on the Web Server machine's temporary directory. Once the data stream to Strategy Intelligence Server has been completed, this file is removed immediately.
Web Application servers running Strategy Web Universal use the following temporary directory for data import:
1. The directory specified as JVM argument:

-Djava.io.tmpdir

2. If no temporary directory is specified as JVM argument, the default web server / operating system's temporary directory is used for data import.

Important note: If the specified temporary directory does not exist or the user has no write/read permissions on the temporary folder, data import will fail. Ensure that the directory exists if any issues with importing files into Strategy Web Universal 9.x. For more information on possible issues with missing temporary directories, refer to TN46836 - "com.microstrategy.webapi.MSTRWebAPIException: (UnpackBinarySize has failed.)" error message appears when uploading a file in MicroStrategy Web 9.4.x.

Refer to specific web server vendor documentation for details on how to configure JVM arguments.
