KB47512: When using a date macro in the subject or message textbox when creating an e-mail subscription using MicroStrategy Distribution Services 9.x the date format is not converted into the recipients locale using MicroStrategy Web

SYMPTOM
 
When creating an e-mail subscription using Strategy Distribution Services, macros can be used to insert the current date into the subject line or message body. If the recipient has set the locale to a language other than US English, the date format will still be delivered in US format "yyyy-mm-dd".
 
Create a new e-mail subscription:
 

 
Notice, the date format is US English.
 

 
 
CAUSE
This is a known limitation of Strategy Distribution Services 9.x
