The data in the transaction service document cannot be submitted correctly, when the writeback form in the radio input is DESC in Analytics Enterprise 9.4.1.

SYMPTOM:

The data in the transaction service document cannot be submitted correctly, when the writeback form in the radio input is DESC in Analytics Enterprise 9.4.1.
When the option "Input is required" is unchecked for the radio input, a null value will be inserted into DB table.
When the option "Input is required" is checked for the radio input, the error "one or more required inputs have not been modified" is received.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

Follow the steps below to reproduce the issue with Strategy Tutorial project:

1. Create two DB Warehouse tables, Table A and Table B. Populate Table A with several rows of data.

Table A:

Table B:

2. Create an attribute called testAnswer from Table A with ID form and DESC form referring to the table columns respectively.

3. Create three attributes from Table B with the ID form only and with each ID form referring to one table column. The attributes are named as Test Title, Test Name, and Test Gender.

4. Create a transaction report to insert data into Table B.

5. Create three dataset reports, each with the testAnswer attribute and an attribute created from Table B.

6. Create a transaction document, as is shown below:

7. Configure transaction, as is shown below:

8. Run the transaction document and submit data. Note that the Title column in Table B has a null value inserted.

9. Enable the option "Input is required" in transaction configuration, and submit data. Note that the error "One or more required inputs have not been modified" is received.

10. Modify the writeback form for the radio input from DESC to ID. Note that the ID form can be inserted into Table B correctly.
