KB47695: "One or more required inputs have not been modified or are empty" error message appears even when all required fields are filled on a transaction services document in MicroStrategy Mobile 9.4.1 iOS Update 2

SYMPTOM:
Users receive an warning message when submitting a transaction services document on Strategy Mobile 9.4.1 iOS Update 2, when not all required fields have been filled out.
 
 

One or more required inputs have not been modified or are empty

• Navigate to the "Opportunity Management" Transaction Services document located at:
  

  
  Shared Reports > Strategy Platform Capabilities > Strategy Transaction Services

  
  
• Click on the "Edit Opportunities" panel.
• Right click the transaction field and select "Configure Transactions".
• Check the "Input is Required" option for the "Oppty_name" and "Oppty_desc" fields to make them required fields.
• Save and close the document.
• Open the document on the Strategy Mobile 9.4.1 iOS Update 2 app and navigate to the "Edit Opportunities" panel.
• In the "Opportunity Name" filed type "test" and then click hit Submit. Notice, Opportunity Description is empty.
  
  Users will receive the following error message:
   
  

• In the "Opportunity Description" field type "test2" and then hit submit.  Users will receive the error message anyway.
   
  

CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy Mobile 9.4.1 iOS Update 2.
 
ACTION:
This issue is fixed in Strategy Mobile 9.4.1 iOS Update 4. Upgrade to this release to take advantage of the fix. 
 
WORKAROUND:
 
As a workaround, kill the Strategy Mobile 9.4.1 iOS Update 2 app, and start over. If from the beginning, all required fields are filled out, the issue will not occur.
