KB47736: Slowness in changing panels is experienced when running a dashboard in Express mode even when the setting to "preload all panels" is selected at the Document level in MicroStrategy Web

Users that have documents/dashboards which contain a large number of datasets/data may experience a performance issue in MicroStrategy Web 9.3.1 Hotfix 3 where changing panels seem to take a long time even after the document/dashboard finishes loading in Express mode.

SYMPTOM:
Users that have documents/dashboards which contain a large number of datasets/data may experience a performance issue in Strategy Web 9.3.1 Hotfix 3 where changing panels seem to take a long time even after the document/dashboard finishes loading in Express mode. Checking the document properties, preloading "all panels of all panel stacks" should be selected:

Checking the panel stack properties on Web or Desktop, the panel stack should be inheriting the preloading properties from the document:

CAUSE:
It is possible to override the document setting to preload panels at the panel stack level. There have been reported issues where this issue occurs even when the panel stacks are set to "inherit from document" for this particular preload setting. Checking the fiddler logs will indicate whether this setting is being properly inherited or the panel stack setting is incorrectly set to "preload currently panel only."
ACTION:
Users should be able to change this setting directly at the panel stack level to preload "all panels" to resolve this issue.
