SYMPTOM
When a parent document is executed in Strategy Mobile that passes selector values to a target document containing a map widget using Edit Links, on clicking the link the selector value is shown in the selectors but the map widget does not get updated.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Using the Strategy Tutorial project, create a new document called "destination doc" using the "Stores within x miles" report as a dataset. The "Stores within x miles" report is located in Public Objects > Reports > Strategy Platform Capabilities > Strategy Mobile > iPhone > Component Objects > Stores - Map
2. Place the dataset on the document as a grid and set the widget to be Mobile > Map with the below properties:
Note: The "Refit the content" is important to this reproduction.
3. Add a drop down selector using the "Store State" attribute. Save and close
4. Create a new document called "Source doc" using the "Stores within x miles" report.
5. Place the dataset on as a grid and a selector on the document with the selector using the "Store State" attribute.
6. Add a text box and use edit links to link to the "destination document" with the following settings. Save and Close.
7. Run the "Source Doc" from an iPad and set the “stores within (mi)” filter to “3000”. When it renders change the selector to "DC", and click on the link.
8. This will run the destination document and correctly show "DC" as the selector value, but the map will not be refit to the content as it was supposed to (it will show the whole United States).
9. This can be confirmed by switching the selector to (All) and then switching it back to "DC" at which point the map will be correctly resized.
CAUSE
This is a known issue in Strategy Mobile 9.4.x.
