After restarting the Intelligence Server running on Linux in MicroStrategy 9.4.1 and 10.x user can notice that the error message "Specified driver could not be loaded Connection String" is thrown when running any SQL against the Sybase data warehouse.

SYMPTOM:
After restarting the Intelligence Server running on Linux in Strategy 9.4.1 user can notice that the error message "Specified driver could not be loaded Connection String" is thrown when running any SQL against the Sybase data warehouse.
In the DSSErrors.log file user can notice the following entry:

Error type: Odbc error. Odbc operation attempted: SQLDriverConnect. Specified driver could not be loaded Connection String: DSN=SYBASE IQ;UID=EDW;

CAUSE:
In the ODBC.sh file located in /opt/MicroStrategy/env/ folder the entry pointing the driver path was not set, like in the example below:

IQDIR15='<IQDIR15>'

ACTION:
Change this entry to the valid Sybase driver location like:

IQDIR15='/opt/SybaseIQ/IQ-15_2/'
