KB47965: ESRI map tooltips do not contain arrows to tab over to the next data point for overlapping markers in MicroStrategy Web 9.4.1

Community Admin

• Strategy

One cannot tab over to the next data point in ESRI map tooltips while arrows are displayed in Google map tooltips to view overlapping markers

SYMPTOM:
Starting in Strategy Web 9.4.1, ESRI maps are integrated with Strategy Web out of the box. However, prior to Strategy Web 9.4.1, Google maps were the default maps in Strategy Web. Users will notice that on a Google map tooltip, arrows will display for overlapping markers, like shown below.

However, on an ESRI map tooltip, there is no option to tab over to the next data point for overlapping markers in Strategy Web 9.4.1, like shown below.

  • Set the latitude, longitude, and display forms for the Store attribute.
  • Uncheck 'Show Areas'.
  • Run the document.
  • Select on a bubble to open the tooltip.
  • Notice there is no option to tab over to the next tooltip.
