Description

This knowledge base article will review how to establish a new VPN tunnel with the Strategy Cloud environment.
This article will be in question-answer format.

Question

How do Cloud customers establish a new (or additional) VPN tunnel with the Strategy Cloud Environment?

Answer

In order to create a new VPN tunnel with the Strategy Cloud Environment, please fill out the required "Cloud Enterprise VPN Setup Form" document and send the completed form to either Strategy Cloud Support and/or the customer's Customer Success Manager. The change request will need to be approved internally before the VPN tunnel can be created. Please find attached the "Cloud Enterprise VPN Setup Form" for Cloud 3.0 environments. Note that a slightly different document might be required for Cloud 1.0 environments. Contact Strategy Cloud Support for more information if needed.

Note: Typically, the VPN tunnel is established during the initial Cloud environment deployment process. If an additional VPN tunnel is required, please make sure to provide an appropriate Business Justification (e.g. establishing connection with a 3rd party data warehouse such as Amazon Redshift) and the Scope (which can be determined between the customer's internal IT and Strategy Cloud teams).
