Symptom 

After upgrading to Strategy 2019 Update 2, configuring Platform Analytics results in an error.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Spin up a 2019 Update 2 AWS template.
2. Under /user/share/java, notice it shows mysql-connector-java-8.0.12.jar.
3. Run the following command to update the Linux library/packages.
   

   yum -y update

   
   
4. The error message appears.

 

Cause

After updating the Linux library/packages, the .jar file name is changed in /user/share/java.
Before updating, the file name is mysql-connector-java-8.0.12.jar. After the update, the file name is mysql-connector-java.jar. When you navigate to the Platform Analytics folder, the symbolic link is still pointing to mysql-connector-java-8.0.12.jar, which causes the error message.
 

Solution

To resolve the error, update the .jar file listed in the symbolic link.
To update the link, run the following command:

-nfs /usr/share/java/mysql-connector-java.jar mysql-connector-java.jar
