MSTR 11.1.3 버전에 (iserver 와 Windows 워크스테이션/ 데스크탑 포함) 포함된 Postgre SQL 네이티브 드라이버 버전은 10.03 버전입니다. 사용할 때 문제가 발생할 경우에 이 드라이버를 11.0 버전으로 업그레이드 해야 합니다. 이 테크노트는 윈도우와 리눅스 플랫폼에서 Postgre 드라이버를 업그레이드하고 구성하는 방법을 다룹니다.
  • Window에서 PostgreSQL ODBC 드라이버 11.0 버전으로 업그레이드

    • PostgreSQL 웹사이트에서 11버전 드라이버 파일인 psqlodbc_11_00_0000-x64.zip 을 다운로드 하세요.

      https://download.postgresql.org/pub/odbc/versions/msi/psqlodbc_11_00_0000-x64.zip
       
    • 압축을 풀고 psqlodbc_x64.msi 파일을 실행하세요. 설치가 진행되기 전에 드리이버가 아래와 같이 ODBC 관리자에 표시 됩니다.

    • 드라이버 버전이 10.03 인걸 확인할 수 있습니다.
       
    • 설치 후에 드라이버가 아래와 같이 업데이트 되었음을 확인 할 수 있습니다.

    • Connectivity Wizard를 이용해 DSN을 생성하세요. Connectivity Wizard 페이지에서 “다른 관계형 데이터 베이스” 옵션을 선택하세요.

  • Linux에서 PostgreSQL ODBC 드라이버 11.0 버전으로 업그레이드

    MSTR iserver가 리눅스 플랫폼에 설치된 경우, Postgre Native ODBC 드라이버도 다음의 경로로 설치됩니다.: %INSTALL_FOLDER%/pgsql-10( AWS 상에서 관리되는 MSTR 환경의 경우 설치 경로는 다음과 같습니다: /opt/mstr/MicroStrategy/install/pgsql-10) 드라이버 버전은 10.03 이기 때문에 11.0 으로 업그레이드 하기 위해 아래 단계들이 필요합니다.
     
    • 첨부된 PostgreSQL 버전 11 드라이버를 다운로드 하세요: pg_rh7.zip
       
    • Pg_rh7.zip을 iserver가 액세스하고 압축해제할 수 있는 host 에 업로드 하세요, %INSTALL_FOLDER%/pgsql-11폴더에 저장하는게 권장됩니다. 명령문 예시는 다음과 같습니다. :
       
      • sudo unzip -d /opt/mstr/MicroStrategy/install/ pg_rh7.zip
         
    • 새 폴더 /opt/mstr/MicroStrategy/install/pgsql-11이 자동으로 생성됩니다
       
    • %INSTALL_FOLDER%/env 폴더에서 ODBC.sh 를 찾아 편집합니다:
       
      • vim /opt/mstr/MicroStrategy/env/ODBC.sh
         
    • 다음을 : POSTGRESQL_PATH='/opt/mstr/MicroStrategy/install/pgsql-10/lib'
      다음과 같이 바꿉니다: POSTGRESQL_PATH='/opt/mstr/MicroStrategy/install/pgsql-11/lib'd.

      %INSTALL_FOLDER% folder 안에 있는 odbcinst.ini 파일을 찾아서 편집합니다.
       
      • vim /opt/mstr/MicroStrategy/odbcinst.ini
         
    • “[PostgreSQL Unicode(x64)]” 섹션을 아래와 같이 바꾸세요:
