KB484910: Fix visualization failure issue when it contains multiple smart metrics from different datasets using same base metric with Data Engine Version 2021

Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.
Steps to Reproduce
This procedure is using Strategy Tutorial WH that is shipped with Strategy products.

1. Login Strategy Developer, create Smart Metric M1 with expression: (Cost + 2)

1. Create Smart Metric M2 with expression: (Cost - 2)
2. Create Intelligent Cube C1 with: Attribute Year and Metric Cost, M1
3. Create Intelligent Cube C2 with: Attribute Year and Metric Cost, M2
4. Login Strategy Web, create dossier with C1 and C2 as datasets
5. Add into Visualization: M1 and M2, error shows up.

1. When viewing DSSErrors.log, “Duplicated Metrics Found” shows in the error message.

Cause
This is a known issue in Strategy.
 
Solution
This issue has been addressed in Strategy 2021.
To pick up the fix, upgrade to Strategy 2021 or above and enable project level setting "Data Engine Version" to 2021 or above. For more details on enabling the setting, refer to Change Data Engine Version.
After the fix, the Visualization returns data.
