A table prefix can be set for the lookup tables created for smart-attribute. This allows db administrators to keep Microstrategy created tables separate from other warehouse tables.

Description

Allow the administrators to set a table prefix using VLDB properties of Db instance for the lookup tables created for smart-attribute.This allows db administrators to keep Strategy created tables separate from other warehouse tables. 

Steps to apply (Developer)

  1. Go to VLDB properties of a DB instance
  2. Show Advanced properties. 
  3. Under tables folder, set the "Warehouse Table Cache Prefix" to desired value.

Steps to apply (Workstation)

  • Go to the datasource blade and right click to see the properties of a DB instance.

  • Go to Advanced Properties and set the "Warehouse Table Cache Prefix" to desired value
