KB486729: Use Content Inspector with Certified Objects

Xiaoning Cui

Product Owner, Principal • MicroStrategy

Security Administrators can use granular control of HTML and JavaScript objects to elevate security standards and approaches toward enablement and certification of custom web content. MicroStrategy recommends that you inspect HTML and JavaScript content in all dashboards, Bots, reports, and documents using the Content Inspector, once you have upgraded to MicroStrategy ONE (March 2024). Security Administrators can right-click on an object to enable or disable HTML and JavaScript content. After the content is enabled or disabled, the object is saved. If the object was certified, it will no longer be certified.

To preserve the Certified object status, inspect the content using the following method:

  • In Workstation, go to Environments.
  • Right-click an environment and choose Open Content Inspector.
  • In the Filter panel, click Certified and select the checkbox next to Certified.
