MicroStrategy HyperIntelligence allows users to enable "Copy to Clipboard" option for their Hyper cards - on http websites however, this option will not appear despite it being used.

Symptom


Hyper cards do not show "Copy to Clipboard” feature when displayed on HTTP pages, while HTTPS sites display the icon correctly.

Solution


The Hyper extension only supports the copy feature on HTTPS websites by design which is why the copy button is visible on the card on HTTPS website.
The reason for this is that Strategy HyperIntelligence uses the Clipboard API to implement the copy operation and it is only supported in secure contexts (HTTPS). 
Migrating the HTTP portal to a HTTPS domain will allow to take advantage of the copy feature.
