Depending on the selected Authentication mode, the JDBC connection string will look slightly different.
It uses a RefreshToken, which can be generated by following the manual of Generate a Refresh Token to Access Google BigQuery .
The connection string has to include an OAuthRefreshToken parameter as below:
JDBC;DRIVER={com.Strategy.googlebigquery.jdbc42.Driver};URL={jdbc:bigquery://https://www.googleapis.com/bigquery/v2;ProjectId=;OAuthType=0;OAuthRefreshToken=?MSTR_OAUTH_REFRESH_TOKEN;OAuthClientId=?MSTR_OAUTH_CLIENT_ID;OAuthClientSecret=?MSTR_OAUTH_CLIENT_SECRET;Timeout=600;EnableHighThroughputAPI=1}A JDBC connection using OAuth Authentication Mode can only be set up in Strategy Workstation – Strategy Developer does not support OAuth Authentication Mode.
The example of connection string as below:
JDBC;DRIVER={com.Strategy.googlebigquery.jdbc42.Driver};URL={jdbc:bigquery://https://www.googleapis.com/bigquery/v2;ProjectId=;OAuthType=2;OAuthClientSecret=?MSTR_OAUTH_CLIENT_SECRET;Timeout=600;EnableHighThroughputAPI=1}Please follow the steps of Integrate Strategy with Azure AD OIDC for Google BigQuery Single Sign-On in Workstation .
