KB486906: Legacy Office Plugin produces the error, "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

Symptom

In the Strategy ONE (June 2024), users may see an empty element list when running a prompted report. Clicking on the filter icon to search the list displays the error, "Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
 

Solution

Add the attached JAR file to your Tomcat directory.
 

• Download the JAR file.
  
• Place the JAR file under

  webapps/StrategyWS/WEB-INF/lib.

  
  

• Restart Tomcat.

The root cause is the absence of the above-mentioned dependency in the
