Guide on how to schedule a start/stop/reboot event for MCE machines

The MCP console is accessed by navigating to the URL https://provision.customer.cloud.microstrategy.com/.
Within the MCP Console, the user selects the desired environment for event scheduling and expands it using the "+" sign.
The Scheduler tab is then opened. Here, the user chooses the specific day for the event and clicks on the "Schedule an Event" button.
In the Event section, the following information is added:

  • Name: The user sets the name for the event.
  • Action: The user selects from the options Start, Stop, or Reboot.
  • Target: The user chooses the target for the event, which can be the entire environment or a specific instance.
  • Time: The user sets the time for the event to occur, noting that the timezone for the event is Eastern Standard Time.
  • Repeat: The user checks this box if the event is to recur daily, weekly, or monthly.
