KB486961: MicroStrategy Library Teams app flickering in the latest native Teams desktop app

Recently, with the release of the native Teams desktop version 24215.1002 at the end of August 2024, there's been a random issue where the Strategy Library Teams app experiences flickering when the home tab is loading.
 

Cause

The native Teams desktop app automatically partitions third-party cookies for requests from iframes, but not native chat. Strategy has logged this issue with Microsoft .
 

Workaround for Bot Design

Make sure your bots' cover image is not in the image path under the Library server domain.
 

• Edit the bot in Library Web.
• On the General tab, click Edit 

•  on the cover image.
  

• Change the URL link so that it does not use the same domain as the Library Web domain and click Save.
  

Workaround for the Strategy Teams Desktop App

End users experience a login loop in the Strategy Teams desktop app. To resolve this, you must kill all Library server domain cookies.
 

• In the home view, right-click in the blank area and choose Inspect.
  

• Open the Application tab. In the left pane, expand Cookies, select the cookie with the domain you are using, and click

•  Clear all cookies.
