KB487049: Activity Tab Appears Blank When Connected to an HTTP Environment

Symptom

When using Workstation and connecting to an HTTP environment, the activity tab may appear blank. To access the activity tab for objects such as documents, dashboards, reports, users, and projects in Workstation:

1. Right-click your object and choose Properties.
2. In the left pane, click Activity.

Cause

Workstation uses a web rendering framework to display the activity tab. Starting in Strategy ONE (December 2024), Workstation applies stricter security rules that can cause this issue to appear in HTTP environments.

Solution

Strategy suggests all users use an HTTPS environment.
