  • The December 2024 Release of Strategy is live on our Product Download page. Upgrade today and unlock new features designed to empower frontline workers and democratize analytics across your organization.
     
    • This latest product release showcases our dedication to continuously investing in and enhancing our core platform, delivering ongoing innovation for our customers. This update introduces a range of improvements designed to keep our platform at the forefront of AI and BI technology.
       
    • Our latest enhancements to Auto, our AI bot, include the ability to seamlessly chat with Auto within the context of Hyper Cards and the ability to remove outdated learnings from Auto using the interpretation window or learning manager.

    • This release also comes with several BI enhancements as we continually invest in our platform. Some of the highlights for these enhancements include incremental fetch capabilities, dashboard filter descriptions, the ability to white-label Library subscription emails, scheduled mobile caching for reports and dashboards, the ability to pass value prompts as URL parameters, permissive object handling, and so much more.

    • Each Strategy release is supported for 24-months from its original release date.  Ensure that you are staying on the latest version by reviewing our Product Lifecycle page.

 Important Notices

 
  • 2021 Updates Expiring Soon:
    Update 8 (December 31, 2024)
    Update 9 (March 31, 2025)
    Update 10 (June 30, 2025)
    Update 11 (September 30, 2025)

   

  • Important Announcement: End of Support for Legacy, On-Premises Strategy Enterprise Platform. 

MEP Support Timeline 

 

Through December 31, 2026: Strategy will provide Mainstream Support for MEP, including feature updates, security patches, and technical support services at your contracted support tier. 

 

January 1, 2027 – December 31, 2028: Strategy will offer Extended Lifecycle Support for MEP at an added cost. During this period, no new feature updates will be provided, but critical security patches and technical support will be available. 

 

December 31, 2028: Marks the End of Support (EOS) for MEP. After this date, no support, feature updates, or security patches will be provided. 

Transition to MCE 

 

Migration Assistance: Our team of experts is ready to assist you with the migration process, providing guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition to the modern cloud platform. Reach out to your Customer Success Manager to discuss your options and plan your migration.  

 

Training and Resources: We will provide comprehensive training materials to help your team get up to speed with MCE. 

 

Strategy Consulting: If you have highly customized solutions, Strategy will provide support to ensure your migration to MCE is successful. 

Strategy On-Prem Tools & MCE Replacements 

Most of the tools and products offered on-premises are available in the containerized MCE platform. There are a few legacy on-premises tools that have been replaced by more modern tools in the cloud offering. These tools will follow the Strategy on-premises support timeline: 

 

Narrowcast Server → Distribution Services 

 

Enterprise Manager → Platform Analytics 

 

Strategy Web ASP → Strategy Web JSP 

  • Update on Support for Workstation Local Mode. 
  • Update on Support for the R-Integration Pack
  • Update on Support for the Legacy Strategy Office Plugin
