When users run a report containing a metric formatted to use the Euro (€) as its currency symbol, the Euro symbol is not displayed correctly.

SYMPTOM:
When users run a report containing a metric formatted to use the Euro (€) as its currency symbol, the Euro symbol is not displayed correctly.
CAUSE:
This issue is due to a few fonts currently being supported for the display of the Euro.
ACTION:
The font used must be changed to those able to support the Euro symbol. These fonts are:

  • Arial
  • Arial Black
  • Book Antiqua
  • Century Gothic
  • Comic Sans MS
  • Courrier New
  • Impact
  • Lucinda Console
  • Lucinda Sans Unicode
  • Tahoma
  • Time New Roman
  • Trebuchet MS

These can be changed in two ways:

  1. To make the default fonts for all objects and all projects, Select: Tools > Developer Preferences > International.
    OR
  2. On a per-metric basis, by editing the metric and selecting Tools > Formatting > Font.
