KB5238: How to specify an SMTP Smart Host Server as the delivery option for a device in MicroStrategy Narrowcast Server

Follow the steps below to specify an SMTP Smart Host Server as the delivery option for a device:

• Open the Narrowcast Administrator console by selecting 'Narrowcast Administrator' from the Start > All Programs > Strategy Tools menu.
  
• In the Folder list, navigate to Administration > Devices:
  

• Select the device that will use the Smart Host Server.
  
• Open the 'Device Editor' by right-clicking on the device and selecting 'Edit...'.
  

• In the 'Transmission' tab, select 'Delivery Options' as shown below:
  

• Enter the IP address of the SMTP Smart Host Server in the 'Smart Host Address' parameter box.
  
• Click 'OK'.
