How to specify abbreviations for graph axis values in MicroStrategy Developer

To abbreviate graph axis values in Strategy Developer, users must follow the steps below:

  • Execute a graph report in Strategy Developer

  • Right-click on the graph axis and select 'Grid and scales...' from the menu.
  • Select the 'Y1 Axis', 'Numbers' tab in the 'Numeric Axis Grid and Scales' dialog.

  • Select the desired abbreviation in the 'Abbreviation' drop down menu.
  • Click on the 'Apply' button.
  • Click on the 'OK' button.
