This document introduces What are the methods in which to display results in MicroStrategy Administrator - Command Manager.

There are four different methods of displaying results in Strategy Administrator - Command Manager:

  • Results to Text
  • Results to Grid
  • Results to File
  • Results to List

There are two ways in which these settings can be used:

  • Session Level
  • Application Level

Session Level:
To use the Session level, go to 'Connection' > 'Results' as shown below. This setting immediately takes effect and is lost if Strategy Command Manager is restarted.

Application Level:
To use the Application level, go to 'Tools' > 'Options' > 'Results' tab as shown below. This changes the way the results are displayed by default in Strategy Administrator - Command Manager. Restart Strategy Administrator - Command Manager for this setting to take effect.
