SYMPTOM:
The Job Monitor Strategy 9.x continues to display the status "Waiting for Autoprompt" even though are no active reports executings

CAUSE:
There are different ways Strategy Web prompted reports can lead to this state
When the 'Web User Session Idle Time is reached, the jobs with "Waiting for autoprompt" status will disappear from the job monitor.
Note: If the report execution time is set too high (higher than the Web User Session Idle Time or User Session Idle Time), the jobs will continue to appear in the job monitor with the status 'Waiting for autoprompt' till the Report Execution Time is met.
ACTION:
To avoid running into the above state, users must ensure the setting "Cancel this sessions's pendings requests" is enabled under Web Preferences:

Additionally, the administrator can also go to the Job Monitor and cancel the jobs with status "Waiting for autoprompt". This solution is a cure not a prevention of the problem.
