How to determine the schema ID of a project in Microstrategy Administrator - Object Manager 9.x

Strategy Administrator - Object Manager is built with the assumption that two projects are related. In order for objects of two projects to be copied across, the schema IDs of the projects must match. Strategy Object Manager provides an easy and improved way for users to determine if the two projects are related.
 
Perform the following steps:

  • In Strategy Administrator - Object Manager, log into to the project source. Open the project and right-click to select 'Properties':

  • In the properties window, users see the schema ID of the project in addition to the project ID and project version ID:
