Users can clean the Strategy Enterprise Manager 9.x warehouse using the scripts that have the prefix "em_clean" and that are provided in the "Program Files\Strategy\Administrator\Enterprise Manager\Scripts" folder. A different script is provided for each of the supported database types.
Users should not resort to cleaning the Strategy Enterprise Manager warehouse especially if they have been collecting statistics for a while and they suspect that the initial load may be very time-consuming. Targeted warehouse deletions and custom time window loads are features that are available in Strategy Enterprise Manager, which may help resolve the issue without having to delete the entire warehouse.

Customers should also be aware that only the current data in the statistics tables can be moved - and any data from the statistics tables that has been deleted will not be available once the warehouse is cleaned.
If the initial data load is suspected to be expensive, the users should consult with Technical Support before cleaning the warehouse. As an alternative to using this method of cleaning the tables, it is also possible to perform a complete initialization of Enterprise Manager through the console which will drop and re- initialize all the warehouse tables
NOTE: If the deletion of the Strategy Enterprise Manager warehouse is needed, users should use the aforementioned scripts and not issue delete or truncate statements against the Strategy Enterprise Manager tables. Issuing scripts to delete data from the Strategy Enterprise Manager warehouse other than the scripts provided by Strategy is NOT supported.
