When users work with the Strategy Narrowcast Administrator console, several temporary tables are created in the Strategy Narrowcast Server Object Repository to store the results of SQL queries and display data. This type of data is generated while running services, browsing in the console, running a search, creating objects, etc.
The size of these temporary tables is small and there are some temporary tables that are deleted when the execution of the service is finished and there are other temporary tables that are deleted when the Narrowcast Administrator console is closed.
By default, all the temporary tables should be deleted by Strategy Narrowcast Server, but sometimes they are not deleted automatically.
Below are the different reasons why the temporary tables could not be deleted:
If the Strategy Narrowcast Server Administrator console is closed and there are no services running at that time, and if temporary tables can still be seen in the Object Repository, then those temporary tables can be manually deleted.
NOTE: The name of the temporary tables start with 'GG' or 'YY'.
WARNING:
Manually editing values in the Strategy Narrowcast Repository incorrectly may cause serious, project-wide problems that may make your project unusable. Since these are user-initiated changes, they are not covered by any Strategy warranty. Users are strongly encouraged to backup the Strategy Broadcaster Repository prior to any alteration.
