DESCRIPTION:
Once an object has been migrated over into the Strategy Enterprise Manager Warehouse (using the data load process), if it gets deleted in the project Metadata, it will not get deleted from the Strategy Enterprise Manager Warehouse.
To filter out application object and schema object elements in Strategy Enterprise Manager that no longer exist in the project Metadata, the Object Exists Status indicator must be used.

To filter out configuration object elements that no longer exist in the project Metadata, the 'Configuration Object Exists Status' attribute should be used. Refer to the following Strategy Knowledge Base document for further details.
KB37196: How to update the "Configuration Object Exists Status" indicator in Strategy Enterprise Manager 9.x?
To update the Object Exists Status indicator in the Strategy Enterprise Manager Warehouse, users must execute the following steps:

This process scans the entire Strategy Enterprise Manager Warehouse. In addition, it compares it to the Metadata and it performs the appropriate updates to the Object Exists Status indicator when an object exists in the Strategy Enterprise Manager Warehouse but does not exist in the project Metadata.
It can also update from not exist to exist if the object is re-migrated over to the project using Strategy Object Manager or Project Merge.
NOTE: The time this process takes to finish depends on the size (number of objects) in the project Metadata and thus may cause elongated times. In Strategy Enterprise Manager, this option can be scheduled as a part of the data load and the users should be careful about its impact on the data load times.
NOTE: If desired, the 'Update object deletions' option can also be run as part of the regular data load instead of running it standalone, by checking the option from Tools > Options > Data Load, as shown below. However, since this operation is time consuming and dependent on the size of the metadata, it is recommended to run it as an independent option.

NOTE: In Strategy 9.x, configuration objects are also updated through the 'Update object deletions' option.
