KB7724: How to disable word-wrapping in report results to be displayed, printed or exported to Excel in MicroStrategy Web

 
In Strategy Web by default, word wrapping is applied to row headers in grid results. This is carried over when the report is printed or exported to Microsoft Excel.

 
To prevent word wrapping in report results, users must follow the steps outlined below:

• Log into a Strategy Web project as a user with Web Administration privileges.
• Go to the Grid display under the project default preferences.
• Uncheck the 'Allow word-wrapping of row headers in the report grid' parameter
  

• Click on the 'Apply' button.
   
  Word wrapping no longer appears in the display of report results as shown below:
