SYMPTOM:
In Strategy Developer 9.4.x-10.X, when users edit or create new objects, they see the following warning message:
The project is locked because it is being modified by 'Administrator'. The -object type- editor cannot be opened util the project is no longer in use
CAUSE:
There are several different instances that would cause this warning message to appear. One of the reasons why the following message may appear is due to the fact that either the project or the configuration is locked.
ACTION:
To resolve this issue, users must unlock the project and/or the configuration by opening Strategy Developer > going to the Administration menu > locking and unlocking the project and/or configuration.
