How to set the Metadata temporal table prefix in MicroStrategy Developer

Recursive searches in Strategy Developer generate Structured Query Language (SQL) that is run against the metadata and requires the creation of temp tables. By default, these tables are created in the same place as metadata tables. However, in Strategy Developer, there is an option to assign a prefix to temp tables to better handle and control tables.
The following steps describe how to define the prefix used in temp table SQL transactions:

  1. Open Strategy Developer.
  2. Connect to the Project Source.
  3. Modify the Project Source by performing a right-click on the Project Source name.
  4. Select the Metadata Table Prefix tab.
  5. Set the Temporal Table Prefix desired.

NOTE: Temporal Table Prefix are ignored by platforms that use True Temporary Tables, since these type of tables do not use prefix.
