SYMPTOM:
Users are not able to access Design Mode in Strategy Web 10.x.
CAUSE:
The license key that was used for installation did not include Strategy Web Professional. Design mode is associated with a privilege licensed with the Strategy Web Professional product.
Note: Web Professional license is requied to use design mode even when the user try creating a new report using Strategy Office.
ACTION:
To check whether a system is properly licensed, load Strategy License Manager and see if it lists an item called "Web Professional”.
System Administrators who feel that they would like to purchase licenses of Strategy Web Professional should contact their Strategy Account Executive for more information. System Administrators who feel that their system should already have Strategy Web Professional, should contact Strategy Technical Support for verification.
