Community Admin

• Strategy

SYMPTOM:
When users attempt to execute a document object containing many reports in Strategy Web, they are kept waiting and the document never finishes executing.

In the Job Monitor window, administrative users can see that the document object is executing with "Waiting for Children" status.

CAUSE:
Each report and document represents a job in Strategy. Therefore, if the document contains 20 reports, the number of jobs assigned to a user account or user session cannot be fewer than 21.

ACTION:
Increase the value of the settings "Jobs per User Account" and "Jobs per User Session" under Project Configuration > Control > Jobs.
