"Error executing SQL :Call SQLExecDirect got SQL_ERROR SQL0101N The statement is too long or too complex. SQLSTATE=54001" is encountered during Data Load.

SYMPTOM:
The data load process fails in Strategy Enterprise Manager 9.x and the following error message appears in the MSTRMigration.log:

Error executing SQL :Call SQLExecDirect got SQL_ERROR SQL0101N The statement is too long or too complex. SQLSTATE=54001
The Strategy Enterprise Manager warehouse is on DB2 UDB for Windows and Unix database.

CAUSE:
The SQL0101N error message may occur due to multiple reasons including the existence of several table joins.

ACTION:
Per Strategy's experience, it is possible to resolve this issue by increasing the value of the statement heap parameter (called STMTHEAP) on the DB2 UDB database side.

The following Uniform Resource Locator (URL) points to a document from IBM that describes this error message and the above action for its resolution:

An MSI application gets SQL0101 with different statements and on different systems:
