KB9406: How to create a report showing report job execution related to specific schedule objects in MicroStrategy Enterprise Manager 9.x - 10.x

This article describes how users can list scheduled report jobs using MicroStrategy Enterprise Manager.

In the Strategy Enterprise Manager 9.4.x - 10.x project, the attribute 'Schedule' stores information about schedule objects in Strategy projects. This attribute is not directly related to the 'Report' attribute so that if 'Report' and 'Schedule' are placed on a report template by themselves, they will not be joined in a meaningful way.

However, the 'Schedule' attribute can be related to the 'Report' attribute using the following methods:

  • Add any attribute or metric found in the IS_REP_FACT table. Most of the Report Processing Analysis metrics come from this table, such as "RP Exec Duration hh:mm:ss". Including any of these metrics on the report will create the proper relationship. Adding the  'Report Job' attribute will also ensure the correct relationship.

  • Add a filter 'Schedule Indicator IN LIST (Scheduled)'
