Prior to Strategy 2020, you could only configure LDAP authentication using Strategy Developer in Strategy Command Manager. Beginning with Strategy 2020, you can configure the Intelligence Server to use LDAP authentication via Strategy Workstation. For steps for configuring LDAP via Workstation, please see Directory Service.
Although you can successfully configure LDAP through Workstation and verify LDAP connectivity via Developer, the LDAP test connection may fail in Workstation.

The LDAP test connection could be failing because LDAP authentication may be disabled in the Library Server. This would cause LDAP to fail in Workstation and Library, but will not affect LDAP authentication via other Strategy clients, such as Strategy Developer and Strategy Web.
You should enable LDAP authentication in the Strategy Library Administrator page:

Once LDAP is enabled, the test connection should succeed in Workstation.
