This article outlines an issue while metric header\values background color defined in Developer is not kept in Dossiers in MicroStrategy 2021 Update 7 and later.
Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards. Steps to reproduce
In Strategy Developer, create a new metric.
From Tools menu, navigate to Formatting > Headers or Values > Background > set ‘Background style’ to Solid and ‘Fill color’ to any color.
Save the metric.
Launch Strategy Web > Create new Dossier > insert as dataset ‘Existing Object’ > add the metric from Step 1. The background color id not kept, as shown below:
